I concocted this, rather quickly, for a friend who was over and breastfeeding, and for me, who wasn't drinking at the time. Not only is it a perfect sipper for while detoxing and cleansing (lemon water is key to detoxify and alkalize the gut!) but also a refreshing mocktail that travels well. I just added my lemon/lime/mint juice to a water bottle, picked up some Pellegrino, and felt like I wasn't missing a beat. It also looks like a cocktail so when you aren't drinking people won't harass you... does that ever happen to you?!
- 3 bushels of mint
- Sparkling Water, Still Water
- This goes a lot faster if you have a juicer. Add lemons, limes and 2 bushels of mint to juicer.
- Pour 50/50 fauxjito mix and water.
- Garnish with mint leaf.
- Sip all day!
