Recommended Reads: How to Be Parisian
The Book: 'How to Be Parisian Whereever You Are: Love, Style, and Bad habits' by Caroline de Maigret, Sophie Mas, Audrey Diwan, and Anne Berest.
Synopsis: The field-guide to Parisian prowess - this book is a modern take on the French woman. Authors Caroline & co demystify the urban legend of the "perfect" Parisian woman we are all so obsessed with - from the uniform (it's not all trench coats, scarves, and Chanel), to her beauty habits (or lack there of), and the secrets of her je ne sais quoi.
Style: Non fiction; the book read like the diary of your very chic, self-deprecating best French girlfriend. The über chic Caroline and her posse of co-authors give the reader access into the inner workings of their mind and lives - complete with photos from the author's personal archives.

Length of Read: For someone who has a horrible attention span and doesn't make the time to read, I attest to the juiciness of the book - I couldn't put it down. It took me approximately two days on my subway commute to finish.
JNSQ Notes: Embarrassingly I opened a page titled SEX and a nice fella next to me on the subway blushed when he curiously glanced over. This is no 'Fifty Shades of Grey' but has a lot of juicy tidbits.
