DIY A Wedge For Your Flats, Sneakers, & Boots
Living in NYC, my shoe situation has changed drastically. I can't really wear Loubou's hiking up my six flights of stairs or running for cabs and subways. I guess I could, but the real shift is I won't. I'm over being uncomfortable for fashion!
Screw spending my savings on the Isabel Marant wedge anything - those puffy space age sneaks seemed more trend than timeless to me, so I decided to fashion hack my Converse All Stars and other flats in my shoedrobe. You can pay $5.00 for these inserts that will make you two inches taller, or create your own with these. In total, with the Converse sneaks and inserts, my wedge sneakers cost me $25.00. I can also reuse the insert for my loafers and flat boots!
