Get the Look: Caitlin Fitzgerald’s Pale Gold Globes Manicure

I’ve watched every episode of Season 1′s Masters of Sex. Although the first season was a little slow with the plot line, I would watch with baited breath just to see what Libby Masters would be wearing or what she will be doing or saying. I find her character really refreshing and was sad to see her not recognized for an award. I literally say “Oh, that is so Libby Masters!” She has replaced ‘Betty Draper’ in my vintage style lexicon.

So now you can likely understand my envy running very deep at the moment that I wasn’t Ms. Katie Jane’s assist as she created a bespoke butter LONDON manicure for Caitlin’s red carpet look at the Golden Globes last night.

I thought Caitlin should go with a pale gold matte on her nails as I knew it would be a gorgeous compliment to the pale blue Emilia Wickstead dress and Anya Hindmarch clutch she wore,” said Katie Jane Hughes, butter LONDON Global Colour Ambassador. “The dress has a slightly vintage feel and I thought butter LONDON’s Matte Finish Shine Free Topcoat would create a cool contrast, which Caitlin loved.” – Katie Jane Hughes. butter London Global Color Ambassador.

Get the look in 3 Easy Steps:

  1. Apply a layer of butter LONDON Nail Foundation Flawless Basecoat to the nail which acts as a foundation for nail lacquer by smoothing ridges and imperfections.
  2. Add one coat of butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in Trallop, a caramel crème shade, followed by one coat of butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in The Full Monty, a molten gold nail lacquer.
  3. Finished with butter LONDON’s Matte Finish Shine Free Topcoat.
